The new XTRM 2- improved in every way over the original, giving you extra grip, stability and durability for the toughest terrains and conditions.

The VJ XTRM 2 is made for rocky and technical trails. The aggressive lugs and 100% Butyl rubber outsole combo grips dirt, mud, rocks and any other surfaces your adventures bring.

The upper is made of a super durable, light and breathable Schoeller Keprotec® material produced in Switzerland. The Soft Heel technology reduces pressure from the heel bone and Achilles tendon and makes the heel fit like a glove. Toes are left with a bit of extra space to spread, which improves the runner's balance. The sole has cushioning units in the front and heel for comfort and a full length rock plate to protect athletes on tough terrain.

The XTRM 2 was built for obstacle course racing, trail and sky running and swim run. Use it for tough, demanding terrain in all conditions. This shoe wants to get dirty.

The XTRM 2 is also Bluesign approved, which means that only sustainably developed production methods have been used.

Perfect fit

I ran the trifecta weekend at Big Bear, ca and all three race were in my Xtrm2 shoes. Surprisingly, all my toe nails remained. No blisters, bruises on feet, no pain. These shoes live up to their new name. Oh and they gripped and drained better too

Amazing !!

I ran the Fayetteville ultra and got 3rd place age group and I absolutely love these shoes . These will be my go to from now on i highly recommended they are light weight, great in mud, and amazing traction !

Light, tight, and ready for flight. ✈️
For real, this shoe fits the foot well, no shift in the forefoot. Mega traction with the butyl rubber. Light and fast with just enough drop. My go to OCR shoe. Just buy a pair, no need to read more reviews. Have a nice day

needed to be shoe-stretched, but with that they are great

I sometimes have trouble with the forefoots/toeboxes of shoes being too narrow. Sometimes they just don't work (which is regretfully most of the VJs I've tried through the years), but sometimes with breaking them in or using a shoe-stretcher they can be made to work. I'm REALLY happy that the shoe stretcher worked on the XTRM2s (and also the Sparks), as these shoes are the best in every other way. They are now my go to racing shoes. Finally I can be a VJ guy for all the right reasons.

Extremely narrow shoe in the midfoot; toe box a disappointment

The grip on this shoe is unreal - unfortunately, I'll never get to try it out on the trail. I found the shoe to be confined in the toe box and extraordinarily narrow in the midfoot to the point where my left foot was hurting just from wearing it while seated for 10 minutes. I would consider my foot to be average to slightly narrower than average, especially in the mid-foot and heel. My pinky toes curl outward a bit and I'm pretty sure they'd be inflamed from even a short walk in these shoes. They were moderately irritated from just a short walk in the house when trying these shoes on. Back to the drawing board for me.

The XTRM2 is a precision weapon that most people find very comfortable. We are sorry they did not work for you!
