The SpeedHiker is amazing…It’s the shoe I can wear for a trail run then meet up with some friends to go for a hike! Being waterproof I don’t have to worry about getting my feet wet on any water crossings and love, love, love the lowered back side that gives my ankles flexible movement on technical trails. Just like all the other VJ shoes, they have #thebestgripontheplanet!! If you’re a trail runner who also loves to hike look no further!!!
Seriously love these shoes so much! Water drains quickly and they literally do have the best grip! GREAT company and even better people behind the product! Will be buying more in the future!
This is my son's go-to shoe for all obstacle racing and outdoor athletics where traction and speed on grass and dirt/mud. No other shoe for kids come close to the VJ grip!
The grip on wet, slimy, muddy terrain is quite phenomenal, even compared to inov-8's. Protection from rocks and roots is also excellent, and the shoes hold almost no water and dry out instantly. I run technical descents in these as aggressively as I would in a metal dobbed shoe.
Maybe it’s because I’ve always used old running shoes and the change was so drastic but these shoes are really comfortable, lightweight and they stick! I felt very comfortable and stable running through all terrain. I would recommend.
