Size Guide
For all your XTRM trails, mud races, or vertical. The best grip, durability and protection for your running needs.

Made for extreme trails...

The VJ XTRM is made for rocky and technical trails where grip, stability, and durability are mandatory.

The aggressive lugs grip dirt, mud, rocks and anything you run on. The super tough upper is a custom kevlar and polyester weave which provides extraordinary protection and durability. The sole has cushioning units in the front and heel for comfort and a full length rock plate to protect you on tough terrain.

The XTRM was built for obstacle course racing, trail and sky running and swim run. Use it for tough, demanding terrain in all conditions. This shoe wants to get dirty.

  • Built on a medium last
  • 48% Kevlar and polyester blend upper
  • FitLock for mid sole stability
  • Cushioning units in front and heel
  • Fiberglass stability control
  • Full length rock plate in midsole
  • Outsole is 100% Butyl-rubber
  • Strengthened rubber toe-cap
  • Aggressive 6 mm lugs in outsole
  • 24mm/20mm stack height - Total with Lugs
  • 4 mm drop
  • Weight (US 8.5): 8.8 oz (250 g)

The XTRM seems to run true to size for length. Some have felt that the toe area is a little snug. Going up 1/2 size seems to be the perfect fix. If you are between sizes, go with the larger size.

So good!

From box to 25 miles on trail - these are amazing. My feet are SO HAPPY in them! I’ll def be buying another pair soon and I recommend these to everyone!

Don't buy if you have need a normal or wide toe box

I first ordered the size I normally wear, way too small. Sent them back, got a size up, and the length was spot on. However my toes were squeezed and wearing them for a few days didn't stretch them at all. Ended up giving them to a very happy lady and bought a pair of Merrill MOAB shoes. They fit perfectly, are the same size, and were $60 cheaper.
